Schemes

99446 Cr. Rupees– total outlay of newly launched Employment Linked Incentive (ELI) Scheme.

  • With a focus on manufacturing, the initiative aims to create more than 5 crore jobs across various sectors.
Structure of the Employment Linked Incentive (ELI) Scheme

Part A – Incentives for First-Time Employees

  • Target Beneficiaries:
    92 crore newly registered employees under the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO).
  • Incentive Details:
    Monthly wage support of up to ₹15,000, disbursed in two phases:
    • First Installment: After completion of 6 months of continuous service.
    • Second Installment: After 12 months of service and successful completion of financial literacy training.
  • Eligibility Criteria:
    • Monthly salary must not exceed ₹1 lakh.
    • A portion of the incentive will be locked in designated savings instruments for future withdrawal.

Part B – Support for Employers

  • Coverage:
    • Applicable across all sectors, with additional benefits for employers in the manufacturing sector.
  • Incentive Structure:
    • Financial incentives for hiring additional employees who remain employed for at least six months.
  • Eligibility:
    • Employers must be registered with the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO).

₹1 Lakh Crore-corpus of newly launched Research Development and Innovation (RDI) scheme.

  • The scheme aims to promote private sector-led research and development in emerging and strategic areas. It is structured to provide long-term, low-interest funding and will be implemented under the oversight of the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), chaired by the Prime Minister.

  • Also launched Mukhya Mantri Kalakar Pension Yojana .( Pension Yojana for senior artists)
